We make all of the pottery that is in our store. Most of the pottery is made in our studio located directly behind the store. Spare stock in various levels of completion is also stored here. In the studio we mix some of the clay and all the glazes, as well as throw each piece by hand. All of our pottery is fired in one of three kilns. We have a gas and an electric kiln on site, and collaborate with other potters to fire our pieces in their wood-fired kilns. We have been very fortunate to have met Joseph Sand in North Carolina. Now we throw and fire some of our pottery with him a couple times a year in his wood-fired salt kiln.
